Wildwood Park in Greenville is moving forward with construction and development on schedule! As the finishing touches for phase one are completed, such as the sandy beach, the city has approved preliminary designs for some of the main attractions of the adventure park.
These designs include features like ziplines, canopy walks and the observation tower. According to a recent report by WCTI Channel 12 News, the public should be able to view a preview of the plans by mid-April.
In the meantime, residents can begin enjoying the completed trails on the east side of the property. For a full look at what to expect during Phases 1-3, click here. Greenville Parks and Rec Director Gary Fenton said the project will take three to four years to complete.
