Happening Now: Greenville’s Sunday in the Park Concert Series

Greenville's Sunday in the Park concert series

It’s music to our ears! Greenville’s Sunday in the Park concert series is back this summer. In fact, this year marks the community favorite’s 50th anniversary.

About Sunday in the Park

Make plans for fresh air and live music during Greenville’s Sunday in the Park concert series going on now through July 30th in the Town Common.

The festivities start at 5 p.m. with vendors and food trucks set up for business. Live music starts at 6:30 p.m. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a relaxing evening of music while the kids run and play.

The lineup includes bands such as Hank, Pattie and The Current on June 25th, Panyelo Steel Band on July 9th and Molasses Creek on July 16th. For the full lineup and other fun citywide events, find the Greenville Recreation and Parks department on Facebook.

Make a note!

There is one Sunday you won’t find all the family fun complete with vendors, food trucks and toe-tapping music.

Sunday in the Park will not take place on Sunday, July 2nd, since the City of Greenville’s Independence Day Celebration will be held two days later. Speaking of the Fourth of July, go ahead and save the date for that family-friendly event too!

There will be a car cruise-in, inflatables, food trucks, live music, a beer garden, fireworks and more starting at 3 p.m. in the Town Common on Tuesday, July 4th.

Location

Greenville’s Sunday in the Park concert series and the city’s Independence Day Celebration are all being held in Town Common. Make your way toward the banks of the Tar River and Town Common at 105 E. First St.
